My husband and I took a beginners 30 hour group class of Portuguese for English speakers at this school. We learned a lot for it being a beginners class. The class was taught by Melissa and she was so patient and understanding. She made sure everyone in the class understood the material and always made us feel comfortable asking questions. She took the time to explain things that students were having difficulties with extreme kindness. I value the time that we had to actually put what he learned into practice with many speaking exercises. It makes a difference when you are heard and corrected to understand exactly where you have to tweak your pronunciation. You do not need to purchase the book, but I recommend purchasing it since the same book will be used for the next two levels of classes and it offers more material to help with your understanding of the language. The office staff is just as wonderful. Very kind, pleasant to deal with and very helpful. I recommend this school very much. They offer private lessons and a more extensive class schedule for those looking to pass the citizenship language exam.

Ich bin hier, um Portugiesisch zu lernen, bzw. meine Kenntnisse zu vertiefen. Es ist eine tolle Schule, um europäische Sprachen zu lernen mit bezahlbaren Preisen. Nur schade, dass kein Bildungsurlaub angeboten wird. Aber was nicht ist, kann ja noch werden 😉. Ich komme wieder!

Diese Schule hat mir zufällig ein Tourist in Funchal empfohlen. Die wenigsten lokale Leute wissen von dieser Schule. Auch im Internet kaum bekannt. Vielleicht deshalb so einzigartig. Gute Schulleitung und sehr kompetente Lehrer. Ich bin im Einzelunterricht und lerne über den normalen Lehrplan, genau das was ich in meinem Alltag umsetzten kann. ✔🔝✔
