Make your own pottery! In my two weeks in Madeira I came here for 2-3 hours every day to create with clay. The ladies who work here are lovely and will help you create whatever you want (mug, bowl, vase, sculpture, etc). I recommend coming at the beginning of your trip, so that you potentially have time to come again and/or pickup your pottery before you leave!

We had an incredible experience here! It was the first time we tried pottery and we really recommend this studio. The place is very welcoming and the staff is very kind and pacient, leaving you to be as creative with your piece as you want but also helping when required, making sure that what you create is as you envisioned it. I am very thankful that after firing and glazing our pieces, they arranged to have them delivered abroad.
