Learning Portuguese with Inês has been a great experience. She is open-minded, patient, and very skilled at understanding where you are starting from—both linguistically and culturally. She adapts the program to your needs, which makes learning effective and enjoyable. While the school could be more modern in its facilities or structure, the teaching itself is of high quality. I would definitely recommend Inês.I couldn’t recommend her more!

I’ve completed two courses at this school, starting from zero knowledge of Portuguese, and I’m very satisfied with the results. You can really feel the progress after each course. The teacher, Inês, is wonderful - polite, friendly, and always explains everything clearly (and as many times as needed). She also adapts to the students’ needs, which I appreciate a lot. In terms of organization, it might not be possible to start classes immediately, since you sometimes need to wait for a group to be formed. It makes sense, as they try to gather students with similar levels. But you might also get lucky - sometimes there’s already a group waiting for someone exactly at your level! I’m definitely looking forward to starting my next course here.

Our teacher, Inês, is a bright, engaging, and very talented teacher. Our classes are fun, thoughtful, and always hold our interest. Inês is very patient with us, and gently guides our grammatical and pronunciation efforts. Inês Abreu from Caravela School has been great so far in supporting my learning of Portuguese. We have moved beyond A1 level & are now at A2 level. It's been a lot of fun while also systematic in following the course - she is very patient, yet also makes sure we cover a lot in each lesson. It's good to have a weekly rhythm with lesson and some homework to keep the momentum going. I already take part in conversations with neighbours, at the bank, on the phone and so on, and I look forward to all the lessons ahead ...

Apologies, but my keyboard doesn't easily make Portuguese diacritical marks, or I would say this all in Portuguese. Caravela School is terrific and our instructor, Inez Abreu is the best. She works well at individualizing the classes based on the students enrolled. She makes the class fun. She personalizes each session. I will be returning soon for my third set of classes. I can't wait!
