Two weeks of “intensive” Portuguese classes is just what the doctor ordered for my wife and I-who are new residents in a Portugal. We can now easily order a coffee, have a conversation in the market and begin to understand our wonderful neighbors. We can not think of a better or more thought out program than this. We only wish we could have started 5 months! Don’t miss the opportunity to learn from this extremely patient, caring and knowledgeable team of seasoned adult educators. In my 40+ years living overseas I've been able to learn languages on three continents. I would rank my experience here as one of the best and certainly the best for the money. Two aspects make it stand out. 1. There is the government approved program they are using. It provides a good base to begin speaking right away and at same time sets a base for expanded learning. 2. Our teacher was excellent at keeping us on course, but any questions we had were answered in class. This mix of direction and openness to the needs of each student created an atmosphere where everyone could get the most of each class. I'll be returning in September for my À2 level!
