We really enjoyed our experience here, it was €2 per person for 2 hours of paddle boarding which also included access to a locker and changing room. We enjoyed our experience so much we returned later in the day for some kayaking.

After living 5 years in Faro I just had an amazing experience on a kayaking trip to barrinha. Yesterday we did the course with a very gentle and encouraging instructor that made me confident to come the day after for a 9km first journey. What an adventure paddling the canoe against light wind and tide that was filling Ria Formosa and to come back to Centro Náutico from the Ocean (crossing the waves was not that difficult for advanced but for me it was a challenge that I overcame with great support from instructor Paulo. I strongly recommend to try and see a different view from Faro e Ria Formosa! Thanks all for the encouragement!

Here you can learn the basics of kayaking, paddle, windsurfing and sail. Good teachers and cheap as hell. I recommend it to all my friends.

Really cheap rentals but only for practice in the river. Not as exciting as theres not much to look at. But if you want to learn or practice for a cheap price, this is the place to go.
