O Checkmat Jiu Jitsu Azores é um excelente local para crianças aprenderem artes marciais. Com um ambiente acolhedor e instrutores experientes, as aulas são bem estruturadas e focadas na técnica. É uma ótima opção para crianças de todas as idades que desejam fazer novos amigos enquanto se divertem a treinar.
What an awesome gym. Long story short. Dropped in for one No-Gi Session. High skilled room, but the most important thing, everyone was so nice. I received a nice welcome, had awesome rounds with some dudes and the technique and technical sparring part was awesome. Would recommend everyone to go there.

A great place and great people. We popped in for a training session while on holiday, learned new techniques and made new friends. I highly recommend the Checkmat BJJ Azores club, it's worth a visit and training whether you're in Ponta Delgada for a while or longer

Great place to train. António the coach is very friendly and knowledgeable. The students are also very good, kind and good training partners. The facility is clean and with good showers. I can't wait to visit again!

I visited during a holiday and felt incredibly welcomed by the instructor and the people attending class. The class itself was 10/10 with solid structure and effective technique. The vibe is excellent. They respect traditions, while being super chill. Highly recommend!
