--- Nice place to spend the afternoon playing tennis. you can play also beach tennis. The people are very kind.

I won't speak about the state of the courts since for better or worse I didn't play there. I will speak about their organisational "skills" when it comes to holding official Portuguese tennis tournaments. Being a decent person and advising of possible delays when this tennis club organises official FTP tournaments apparently does not work in your favour. Informed the organisers of a 40 minute delay due to a mistake from my part. Since I would have to pay another 30€ to arrive to their club I asked if my opponent is supposed to come and if it would be even worth it for me to go there with that delay. The organisers without showing an ounce of going the extra mile and being helpful in some way, just responded with "Oh well I don't know it's better I think if you don't come" Fine I think, I was late so I should be disqualified, but if my opponent does not arrive or is late as well, then it would be unfair. However, 1 hour after my match was supposed to start, I checked in the official app about the result and they had not updated my disqualification, leading me to believe that my opponent did not even go there as well. When I inquired about them via email, about this, they totally ignored me, even though they were quick to reply to my first email when I informed them of my delay. Even at the time of writing this (7 hours after the supposed start of the match) they still haven't updated the score. Obviously foreigners are seen as an annoyance (unless you are a rich talent kid ofc) in this country and there is a preference for the Portuguese players here, even though we all pay 25€ per year for our license. A total disrespectful behaviour, and a total lack of organisation. FTP should consider letting these guys make tournaments if they treat the players like this.
