É o polo central da rede de equipamentos desportivos municipais. Inaugurado em 1992, oferece um vasto e diversificado leque de atividades para a prática desportiva, quer na vertente livre, quer na vertente enquadrada e acompanhada por técnicos profissionais e credenciados. Possui uma nave desportiva central com 48 metros x 30 metros, com capacidade para 3300 espetadores, 3 ginásios, 1 piscina com 1 tanque de 25 m x 12,5 m e 2 tanques de aprendizagem, 2 campos de squash e 1 sala de desportos de combate. Permite a prática de cerca de 40 modalidades, entre atividades aquáticas, gímnicas, fitness, dança, squash, musculação, desportos de combate, basquetebol, futsal, entre muitas outras. The shell and hallways seemed a little bit old at first glance. However the internal structure seems amazing and very well-maintained. We have been there today for visitation and will prepare our enrollment next week. Looking forward to be there on a regular.

Big sport facility which during covid vaccination is dedicated for this subject. I did not get a big queue . The staff were very helpful, it had good access by public transport, you also can find parking place around.

One of the most modern sports complex in Almada. It hosts a basketball team for regular season but can host several different indoor sports. It has also a gym and pool. Capacity of the hall approximately 1500/2000.

The garden surrounding the complex is a great place to spend some hours with the kids or pets. Or even read a book while laying on the grass. It has a lot of green space and overall with good accessibility conditions for people in wheelchairs. The only caveat is regarding the bathroom access which is only available in the main building. Very family friendly.
