We have booked several concerts and we highly recommend them. Everything is well organised and the musicians are truly outstanding — a real gift for your ears. Unfortunately, the Christmas concert was a disappointment. As it was described as suitable for children, we ended up sitting near a family with a restless child who could not be kept quiet. There was constant talking, walking back and forth, and banging against our seats. The first part of the concert, which was musically beautiful, unfortunately became a source of irritation for us. Such a shame. That said, the earlier concerts were absolutely wonderful.

The spacious and well-maintained building provided an excellent environment for music education. The dedicated educators at the Conservatório were not only skilled musicians but also excellent pedagogues, truly nurturing the musical talents of their students. Beyond my role as a teacher, I also had the pleasure of attending concerts organized by the Conservatório in the grand auditorium. These events were nothing short of spectacular, showcasing the incredible talent nurtured within its walls and offering unforgettable musical experiences. In summary, the Conservatório de Música de Coimbra is a hub of musical excellence. Its spacious and well-equipped facilities, along with its dedicated educators, make it an ideal place for music education.
