We had a wonderful time at this institute. We learned a lot and Sara even told us a lot of interesting things about the portuguese culture. We did a one week intensive course. The group in the intensive course was small, so it was really intense. I continued with 1 hour of Portuguese a week. Thank you Sara and Ernesto for making it a bit of a second home for the time of our stay. By the way: They even have a very nice farewell and end of the course ceremony :) I highly recommend the Fast Forward Institute Porto. It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. And Sara is a really good teacher. Obrigadissimo!

My wife and I spent two weeks at Fast Forward. We found the staff and curriculum to be excellent. The course we attended was an intensive immersion. All classes were conducted in Português, the instructors are very knowledgeable about multiple languages and were able to explain Português very well. We would like to thank the entire staff with special thanks for Sara, Mafalda and Ernesto. Nós gostamos nosso tempo na instituição “Fast Forward”. Obrigado por tudo! I booked an intensive course (4 + 1 / day) for seven days. And the experience was a complete disappointment. The first day I had to attend a A2 level class although I had written in the application that I had B2/C1 level. The director simply hadn’t read my application carefully. And he didn’t have another teacher available. So I lost one morning. The next day I got another teacher, and that was a disaster. The teacher, and older blond woman, who’s name I forgot, was rude and overall incapable. And when she said that the swiss people were racist, I got up and left. The director apologized and I got another teacher. But only the next day. So I had lost yet another morning. The other two teachers were young and friendly but not enthusiastic nor motivating. The lessons were not prepared. I’ve had lessons in many language schools in many countries with motivating and enthusiastic teachers, but this was by far the worst experience.
