Camila was my first forró teacher and I can't think of a better person to have introduced me to this beautiful world. Rather than following the masses, she has developed her own teaching style based on years of experience and dedicates herself to empowering followers and leaders alike. Camila's students stand out. It happens often that we're recognized at international festivals: "Oh, you must have taken classes with Camila." When I took private classes with her, I had to make sure to film everything because she wants you to take as much away as possible so you can study and practice on your own time and take your dance to the next level. Her energy is infectious and at the same time, she knows how to listen and engages just as easily with technical questions as concerns and thoughts around dancefloor dynamics. I highly recommend trying classes with Camila. It's unlike taking classes with anyone else.

I’ve had the pleasure of joining Camila’s amazing workshops, group classes, and private lessons, and I must say she is absolutely fantastic. She gives her all in every session, and the private lessons in particular are just wonderful. I feel like I’ve become such a better dancer thanks to her encouragement and dedication. I have done many workshops, classes and private classes with Camila. I went twice to her festival Gira Girassol.It was great opportunity to improve dance skills, watershed in being a leader who knows how to pay attention in the followers. Her classes is not only steps but she works in all skills to be a good dancer. Her sucess and wide known forró teacher speaks by herself. Really worth it.
