Excellent facility. Friendly staff who speak English well. Water quality is fantastic, they use less chlorine due to also using UV or ozone filtration. 25 m adult lane swim 8 am to 2 pm every day is my primary usage. Great value for my money. Highly recommend.

We are visiting Portugal for two weeks and wanted an indoor swimming pool for our children to swim in. Our kids can swim very well already, after taking lessons for 3 years in Germany. We were looking for a professional swimming pool, not a "fun" pool, the kids are well-behaved and take swimming very seriously. They first asked our kids to do a swim test, which they passed, in order to have access to the free use of the pool. The first day we came, we could check in without a problem. But when we came back the next week, they asked for our IDs again (even though they already had us in their system) and they stated that since my daughter was not yet 8 years old (even though her birthday was in a month and she passed the swim test), she could not swim in the pool. The lack of indoor swim pools in all of Portugal that are kid friendly is such a shame but it's especially a shame that this swimming pool made us go through so many hoops, allowed us to swim and then rejected us later due to their weird rules that they did not clarify from the start. If you have kids and are on vacation in the country, avoid this place.
