I can speak about children's swimming lessons. The coaches are very cheerful, attentive, they let the kids have fun, and they speak English and Portuguese. Parents can always see how the lesson is going. My child has grown to love swimming, and I see his progress in every lesson. He attends both group and individual lessons, twice a week. For individual lessons, my child works with Guillermo, and I must mention how much he enjoys swimming with him and says that he comes to have fun with Guillermo and swim a little bit. The pool is clean and warm, there's a changing room and shower stalls.

Spent 2 weeks working out here and can’t say enough about how welcome we felt despite out fumbling Portuguese. Really appreciate the trainers stepping in to correct my form in the weight room because even after years of training I get lazy

When new this place must have been lovely. But while the reception staff are friendly the place itself is not looked after. The outside pool is in a beautiful but uncared for garden, the water is dirty. The (men’s) changing rooms are disgusting. They’re rarely cleaned. Flies everywhere. If the most basic maintenance was done this place would be so much nicer. What a wasted opportunity.

It's pretty dilapidated but it gets the job done. 25€ for day pass. No soap in the bathroom or shower. Took a class while I was there and the instructor just sat in the back and called out directions.

Sadly whoever is in charge of hygiene at this place, is asleep. If this gym would be in any other place, it would have gone bankrupt a long time ago. Too bad there's not many other alternatives in Cascais. Pros: The 2 Stars is merely due to the trainers, who are extremely friendly and forthcoming. Cons: It's a disgusting place. People shave in the Sauna and Turkish bath. The male changing rooms smell of urine. There's a ton of humidity inside the training areas. When it rains, the hallways leak water onto the fake grass carpet, which then obviously smells moldy for the remainder of the week. The male bathrooms have snails in them, moths, flies and of course, mold. The changing rooms are cold and from the 80's. The cleaning staff doesn't really do much to tell people that perhaps shaving yourself in the Sauna and Turkish bath with others, is a disgusting thing to do. Never have seen any of them sanitize the equipment, either. This place has everything to be the coolest gym in Cascais, but just throws it away with their lack of care for the place. Thank god, there's now other gyms opening in the area and we're moving away. My suggestion: Whoever owns this place, should simply sell this place to someone who cares and actually wants to run it.
