I can highly recommend ISTA school. I joined Portuguese language class - A1.1 level while I stayed in Albufeira. Nelson is a very good teacher. He always make sure that each class was different and we all had a lot of fun. If you think about learning Portuguese or different language you should definitely check this place.

I’ve taken both the A1 and A2 Portuguese courses here and am now moving into the conversational classes. Nelson, the professor, is fantastic: very engaging and makes even the tougher parts of learning Portuguese fun and approachable. The classes move at a good pace based on students’ needs and are flexible enough to include everyday, practical topics. The office staff are always so kind and helpful, and the option to join classes online makes it easy to keep learning while traveling. There are also tons of great resources available for anyone who wants to put in the extra effort. Highly recommend this school and Nelson as a teacher!

I have just completed the A1& A2 Portuguese language courses which I attended over the last 12 months,and I am currently on the 3 month Conversation course all under the very able and amiable tutor Professor Nelson Rodrigues . As I live in the U.K. I have done the course by Zoom ,which was organised and well set up by Professor Nelson making participation with the class an very good experience . The course has been excellent in both content , pace, ease of comprehension of the grammar and the development of my language skills ,which I am currently steadily improving on,with the current Conversation course.
