Great time with a school trip with 60 students. The camp monitors (staff) were excellent, facilities were great, food was good. Very highly recommend.

Yesterday from aecidadela school the students of 9th grade went to my camp for a trip, everything was great and perfect the students went to the pool and the water slides they also did ziplining which was loved by everyone except the stupid scavenger hunt. we heard that they have started it only this year and I would like say please also stop it this year, in the sun all the students need to run around the entire campus for hours just to figure out words and thats it instead of wasting time like that I would like to say do some other activities available in my camp, all the students have complained about it.its a request!

A great experience for kids! My 15-year old girl had the time of her life. No phones allowed (only 45min a day to call family) and lots of activities, sleeping in glamp or dorm, team work, friendship.

Really good camp. The workers were really nice and it had a lot of activities. But the beds weren’t that comfortable. I recommend and I will definitely be coming here again.

The facilities of MYCAMP are incredible. It’s apparent how much has been invested in this huge playground for all ages. The resort and organisation is 5*. However, some points to note: if you have siblings with different ages, they will be split up. Different times for activities and they will not have meals together. If you are international, you might be lucky to have an English speaking monitor, but it’s primarily a Portuguese speaking camp. The assembly’s are only in Portuguese. My kids understand most, so it wasn’t too much of an issue… There’s a phone restriction…. You can use your phone between 2:15-3pm. Which is fine, but the kids cannot take their chargers, so you have to rely on the monitors to charge them. My daughter’s phone was not charged, so I had a 2 minute call with her at 3.05 whilst it was being charged, where the monitor was telling her that time was up. In the end, I had to fight for them to give us the 45 minutes we were entitled to. Of which we had 15 minutes…. But be warned, if your older kids are with the head monitor, Alex, his behaviour is inappropriate and arrogant (which is the reason why I reduced 2 stars) I won’t go into the whole story, so be sure to communicate directly with their monitors and not with him…. Unfortunately, the experience with Alex (head monitor) has left me so shaken and these worries/concerns are not ones I need to have whilst my kids are so far away from home, having invested so much in the camp….. It’s to no fault of the owners, because they have done a fantastic job! I would highly recommend for the younger kids (including my sons group - intermediate), the other monitors have been very attentive and accommodating, but not for the older group….
