A piscina da Penha de França é uma excelente opção para crianças que querem aprender a nadar. Os professores são descritos como pacientes e as instalações estão bem mantidas. É importante verificar a disponibilidade das aulas antes de visitar, pois podem estar lotadas.
I have been using this pool since I moved to Portugal- 2 & half years now. It has been a wonderful experience. The male workers, Simão and Andrei are so kind and helpful.They also helped my friend in sign-up process with so much patience. It makes my day & makes me so happy to see both of them being so kind and professional.

My daughters have been swimming here for years. The teachers are great. The facilities are well maintained. Very affordable and excellent value. Most of the office workers are kind; however, there is one younger lady there with dark hair who is honestly the rudest person I've interacted with. If she's there, I won't bother going to the office. It isn't worth the flagrant distain that exudes from her core. Not sure how she has a job that has to interact with the public. If it weren't for her, I'd give the pool 5 stars for sure!

The young woman with black hair gave us incorrect information. Although this year’s swimming classes were already fully booked, she didn’t inform us and still had us take the test. It was very unkind. However, the other staff member we met during our second visit was friendly and helpful. Please keep this in mind when visiting.

People on the front desk specifically the girl is quite unfriendly as well as the lifeguard. I bought my entrance and they didn't warn me of what kind of bathing suit you need to wear, I climbed the stairs though I am disable, so I use a cane. The elevator is out of order, but I really wanted to swim after flying 21 hours from USA into Lisbon last night. The guard told me I could not swim because I was wearing a 2 pieces bathing suit. So after climbing the stairs I told him I was sorry and next time I will bring a full swimsuit. He was rude and angry. I hated this place. Young guys there are not polite at all! They didn't offered the money return either. Do they hate handycap 's people???!!!!

Horrible experience. I wanted to start a swimming course, I sent several emails to do so, the replies were always very slow (days and days), sometimes they did not reply at all. At that point I went straight to the facility, there were 3 people that was working there, none of them spoke English. They told me I had to take a test to measure my swimming level before starting a course. They gave me an appointment on March 3, 2025 at 10.00. When I arrived the pool was closed, there was a sign that basically said "hey it's carnival and we don't work". I tried emailing and calling 2 different numbers but nobody reply. There were at least 4 other people waiting with me and no one had been notified. I had to ask for a day off from work to organize the test, because it was not possible to do it on other days.
