A Piscina Municipal em Portimão é uma excelente opção para famílias que procuram um espaço para nadar. Com um ambiente amigável e uma piscina de 25 metros, é ideal para crianças e adultos. Free swimming 08:00 until 15:00 last entrance!! ~4 Euros for 90 minutes, then 1€ per 15mins. There is a sauna too. (All just explanations at entrance, I was too late today)

5 stars for the lady at reception who didn't speak English but explained things as best she could and showed us around. We only had 1hr to swim and 10 minutes for shower, she was quite insistent and took a 5 euro each deposit, it was 3.50 for adult and 2.80 for child and there were only 2 lanes reserved for the public, we were lucky it was quiet so had a lane to ourselves. The shower was almost too hot, defeating the point of cooling down in the pool. I feel for how little is available it is overpriced compared to the other centre we went to in a nearby village

Helpful friendly staff and a very nice pool, not busy, 3euros. Sadly, the outdoor pool, spa etc and showers not working

According to Google Maps the Pool should be opened at 8:00 am. Arrived at 8:45 am but an announcement in the door informed opening time at 9:00 am. Well it is now 9:25 am and nobody appeared, the doors are still closed. Most likely the pool is closed but nobody cared to inform the users.
