I spent two weeks on vacation in Porto and decided to take Bachata lessons at Porto com Salsa, and it was one of the best decisions of my trip! My instructor Niubis was absolutely fantastic. After just two weeks of lessons, I feel incredibly confident—I learned six essential Bachata figures/patterns and now feel ready to join the Bachata community in Vancouver. The teaching style is fun, easy-to-follow, and incredibly effective for dancers of all levels, even those like me who were just starting. i quickly built a solid foundation. We popped in a Kizomba Class during our vacation in Porto since we wanted to try out for a first time. Very welcoming Cuban dance studio owner who responded very fast to our questions by mail and WhatsApp. When we arrived they had no problem taking us in even though they have a fixed group of students, the students and Kizomba Teachers were super friendly and welcoming and the teachers had very good teaching skills and technique. When we left we felt like we already knew them a bit, we would definitely go take classes here again if we were to stay in Porto. Thank you for your kindness and wonderful class! The Kizomba Teachers also speak French and English and studio owner is Cuban so Spanish is also possible.

Our time here was nothing short of amazing, largely thanks to the beautiful people we had the pleasure of meeting! Niubis isn't just an incredible teacher (seriously, the best I've ever met!), she's also such a kind soul that we clicked instantly and became fast friends. Elisabeta and Antero were also incredibly supportive, and their friendship meant a lot to us. We truly felt so fortunate to have crossed paths with such lovely individuals. And the salsa lessons? It’s hard to believe that in just 12 lessons I went from total beginner to facing multiple salsa moves! I’ve never had so much fun in my life working with Niubis was outstanding she is not only a incredible teacher but also an incredible person. She shines like a diamond and gives you all hear heart when she teaches. I only stop because I have to leave Porto otherwise I’d have stayed on as her student for many years.

We came on vacation to Porto and just popped in by chance. Niubis is a great ambassador of Cuba with her warm personality and unique way of teaching.
