I took their summer course, the intensive and came back for more. I also took private online classes during the pandemic. I am now living in Lisbon and I am fluent because of them. I have Portuguese friends and people that I only speak Portuguese to thanks to them. Their teachers are amazing as well as the location, activities, and different scenarios that you practice in class. Truly recommend.

Best Portuguese language school ever! I love that they provide a placement test to properly assess your level and put you in the right class. The entire team is warm & welcoming, the instructors are knowledgeable, and they do a fantastic job in making language learning fun and engaging. I took two weeks of classes (morning group classes + individual lessons in the afternoon -- much love to Diana and Damiana). I was impressed with how organized everything was. I learned soooo much and my skills improved significantly after such a short period. I highly recommend this school & look forward to enrolling for more classes!

I had the pleasure of studying at Portuguese Connection for 3 weeks in early 2026. The educators and staff are wonderfully warm and welcoming. The quality of the teachers is exceptional. Incredible Portuguese school! In just two weeks, I really improved my Portuguese and learned a lot of grammar, vocabulary, and conjugation. The classes were very dynamic — we spoke a lot, and always in Portuguese. It was quite challenging at first since I was a beginner, but incredibly helpful for progressing quickly. I wanted to learn Brazilian Portuguese, so I had an additional one-hour private lesson in the afternoon with a Brazilian teacher, on top of the four hours in the morning with a Portuguese teacher. The combination worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend Portuguese Connection Language School if you want to learn Portuguese fast!

I spent three weeks at the Portuguese Connection Language School. I had a fantastic time and learned loads of Portuguese. The teachers were excellent -- very engaging, well organized, personable and patient. I took group classes and private classes. Every class seemed to have a well structured lesson plan, which allowed for lots of conversation and also covered grammar. Everyone at the school cares about whether the students are happy and satisfied. The weekly field trips around Lisbon are fun too, and offer a chance to see the city, speak a bit more Portuguese, and meet fellow students. I highly recommend this school!
